Progress Report

• The Board results – 2010 were, once again, great with 08 students of class X getting CGPA 10 and 04 students of class XII crossing the 90% barrier.

• Isha Manchanda qualified for NIFT and Abhinav Chaurasia got selected for Institute for Planning and Architecture.

• Special reading sessions are being conducted by a panel of experts for the students of classes III to VIII.

Co-scholastic Activities

• Tapas Shukla (VIII) became a ranked badminton player (within top 16) in the U-13 category, at the national open held at Bangalore.

• The students of classes VII (85), VIII (96) and IX (109) attended the Adventure camp at Camp Bagicha, Nainital.

• 22 students attended a Kumauni dance workshop conducted by the experts/faculty from Aarohi, Nainital from 12th to 16th July.

• Taxila House won the inter-house soccer (junior).

• Ajanta House won the inter-house Hindi debate (senior)

Welfare

• Mr. CP Thapa returned after the successful surgery at Kanpur financed by the JBNS Society.

• The children of Late Mr. Devendra Tiwari have admitted in JBS and his wife has joined NTT with full fee concessions.

Recognition

• JB Academy has been entrusted the responsibility of Monitoring/Mentoring the implementation of CCE in other CBSE schools of Faizabad.

Enrichment Programme

• All the Maths teachers attended a workshop conducted by the two visiting faculty from Jodogyan, Delhi.

• Ms. Manju Kumar attended the 2nd module of ‘Courage to Teach’ at Disha India, Gurgaon.
